How XCREENER is organized around asset classes and screener types, and how combining the two gives you a focused view of any market.
This guide walks through XCREENER's core concepts so you can start finding opportunities quickly. It covers how the platform is organized, how to navigate between markets and screeners, and how to read and interpret the data you see.
How XCREENER Is Organized
XCREENER is structured around two dimensions: asset class and screener type.
Asset classes are selected from the sidebar:
- Crypto: major cryptocurrencies and digital asset pairs
- Forex: major, minor, and cross currency pairs
- Indices: global stock market indices
- Commodities: energy, agricultural, and commodity products
- Metals: precious and industrial metals
Screener types determine what kind of opportunity you're looking for. Each screener applies a different analytical lens to the selected market.
Combining a market with a screener gives you a focused, filtered view of instruments matching specific conditions.
Choosing a Screener
Select the screener that matches your trading objective.

Timeframe Selection
Every screener supports multiple timeframes, from 15-minute intraday views to weekly sweeps. The selected timeframe determines which data the screener calculates and ranks.
Use shorter timeframes (15m–1h) for intraday opportunities and longer timeframes (Daily–Weekly) for swing and positional setups. See Timeframes for a full breakdown.
Reading Screener Results
Each screener displays results as a sortable table. Every row represents one instrument. Common columns include:
- Symbol: the trading instrument
- Last: current market price
- Chg / Chg%: absolute and percentage price change
- W% / D% / 4h% / 1h%: performance across multiple timeframes
- Chart: a mini sparkline of recent price action
Screener-specific columns (such as breakout levels, RSI values, or moving average values) appear alongside these standard metrics. See Understanding the Screener Table for details.
Suggested First Steps
- Select an asset class from the sidebar (e.g., Forex).
- Choose a screener that matches your objective (e.g., Performance).
- Select a timeframe appropriate for your trading style.
- Sort results by Chg% or a performance column to identify leaders and laggards.
- Compare W%, D%, 4h%, and 1h% to assess multi-timeframe alignment.
- Open the chart for any promising candidate to confirm the setup.
