Breakouts Screener

The Breakouts screener surfaces instruments that have moved above recent resistance or below recent support, split into Breakouts and Breakdowns tabs.

The Breakouts screener detects instruments that have moved beyond significant price levels, signaling potential trend initiation or continuation.

What It Does

Results are split into two tabs:

  • Breakouts: instruments that have moved above a recent resistance level
  • Breakdowns: instruments that have moved below a recent support level

The Brk Lvl column shows the specific price level that was crossed. The farther price has moved from that level, the more confirmation you have that the move has momentum behind it.

Common Uses

  • Catching emerging trends early
  • Trading volatility expansion
  • Confirming trend continuation after a consolidation
  • Identifying the strongest breakouts using multi-timeframe performance alignment

Example

A currency pair that repeatedly failed to close above 1.9800 and has now broken through will appear in the Breakouts tab. The Brk Lvl column confirms the exact level crossed, and the W%, D%, 4h%, and 1h% columns indicate how broad the momentum is.
