Performance Screener
The Performance screener ranks instruments by percentage price change over your chosen timeframe, splitting results into Gainers and Losers.
The Performance screener ranks instruments by their percentage price change over the selected timeframe, making it the fastest way to identify market leaders and laggards.
What It Does
Results are split into two tabs:
- Gainers: instruments with the strongest positive performance
- Losers: instruments with the largest negative performance
Switching timeframes (W, D, 4h, 1h, etc.) recalculates rankings for that period, so you can assess whether strength or weakness is short-lived or sustained across multiple horizons.
Common Uses
- Momentum trading: find instruments consistently leading the market
- Trend following: identify markets with sustained directional performance
- Relative strength analysis: compare leaders and laggards across an asset class
- Breakout confirmation: a breakout becomes more compelling when the instrument rises to the top of the Gainers list
Example
If AUDNZD has gained more than most Forex pairs over the selected timeframe, it ranks near the top of the Gainers list. Checking the W%, D%, 4h%, and 1h% columns reveals whether that performance is accelerating or fading.
